Implications for practice and research
Educating nurses on equitable interventions can provide them with the tools necessary to provide holistic, non-bias care to the transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) clients.
Employing a mixed-methodology study would provide a better understanding of the extent of the phenomenon experienced by the TGD population in the healthcare system.
