This article is part of Evidence Based Nursing (EBN) Perspective series. In this series, published commentaries related to a specific nursing theme are collated and highlights are discussed. The topic for this edition is ‘nursing issues’, covering 21 commentaries published from October 2016 over a 12-month period.
