Sigma Theta Tau and Nursing Spectrum are sponsoring Innovations in Clinical Excellence, a programme designed to recognise successful evidence-based projects.
Five nurses will be recognised for their innovations.
We're looking for projects that integrate the current best evidence with clinical expertise to guide practice. Nurses can use evidence-based practice not only to leverage better outcomes for their patients but also to save themselves time and stress.
Types of projects
Examples of projects you might want to consider submitting include:
Quality improvement projects at the organisation-wide or unit level
Research utilisation projects
Case management projects.
Look for projects where you used the nursing literature to solve a problem and gain better patient outcomes.

Free registration at Sigma Theta Tau's International Biennial Convention, November 10-14, 2001, Indianapolis, IN. Winners will be recognised in a special ceremony

All submissions will undergo review by the Evidence-Based Practice Work Group (comprising members of Sigma Theta Tau International, Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS), Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS), National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists (NACNS), Southern Nursing Research Society (SNRS), Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) and Western Institute of Nursing (WIN). All identifying information from the submission will be removed before review.
