This study by Aslan and colleagues was performed to determine the prevalence of and factors related to urinary incontinence (UI) and faecal incontinence (FI) among older people residing in nursing homes in Istanbul. As in other countries, the population of older people is increasing in Turkey, and with this ageing of the population the prevalence of UI also increases.
